Tesla Motors unveiled their latest electric car, the Model X. CEO Elon Musk hopes the Model X will "redefine the upscale SUV market," mainly because of two standout features: its Back to the Future-ish falcon wing doors, whose two hinges allow for greater access to the second and third rows; and its dual electric batteries, which individually power the front and rear wheels, giving the SUV greater responsiveness on the road.

...change perspectives? As Elon Musk once said: "Most cars are pretty blah. This one is not."
This electric SUV will be the 3rd Tesla model coming out in late 2013. Perhaps the most incredible feature will be the performance. It will still beat a Porche 911 from the line doing 0-60 MPH in 4.4 seconds in the performance edition! Baseprice will be around 50 000 $ and maximum range with the 85 kWh battery-pack should be around 270 miles which is still pretty awesome for a heavy electric SUV. And it will have falcon doors which should make entrance much easier due to the fact it's supposed to seat 7 adults.
