Welcome to Tesla Rumors

These are exciting times.  So much has changed in the last 10 years.  In this short time there have been so many innovations that have changed our lives tremendously.  But before they were invented, we didn’t know we needed them.  Steve Jobs, the co-founder and former CEO of Apple Inc. once said, “People don’t know what they need, until you show it to them.”   He was right.   because these innovations we benefit from today are things we would not want to be without.

Imagine the following...

  1. Trying to get somewhere
    with a map.

  2. Having to change a CD to listen
to music or a DVD to watch a movie.

  3. Having to go to the public library
    to do research.

  4. Waiting for a letter to arrive via the US Postal Service.

  5. Having to go to a store every time you want to buy something.

  6. Waiting for a vendor to send you literature via mail about their products.

  7. Having to wait for the 8 o’clock news to find out the weather forecast.

  8. Limiting the phone calls you make because of the high cost of long distance calling.

  9. Buying large enough armoire or cabinet to accommodate the depth of your TV.

Well, you already know that all these things have been replaced by the GPS, Skype (video chat),  Apps and websites with weather, online shopping, VOIP, the internet with informational websites and Wikipedia, websites about products, online music and video libraries, flat-screen TVs, and email.  It gets even better yet; we carry all of these things in a small thin package in our pockets in a device called a smartphone.

A lot has changed, but things are still changing.  In fact, there’s one thing that is just starting to change that may add another item to the list of the way we use to do things.  What might that be?  It’s going to be the way we fuel our cars.  One day, we’ll talk about having to stop off at a place they called a “gas station” to put this smelly toxic substance in our vehicles.  People will one day say, “you mean, back then you couldn’t just refuel/recharge at home?”

This website is dedicated to that change and to the one company that’s really making it happen, Tesla Motors.

I look forward to bringing you content that will inspire, educate, and entertain you. So browse the site, explore, learn, post your own ideas, be thought-provoked, live “green” and visit often.  You’ll be glad you stopped by.  Together, we are going to be part of history.
